City Ballet of Cleveland is pleased to announce auditions for Dr. Coppelius’ Workshop on Saturday, January 24 from 1:30 pm -2:30 pm. The audition is open to all Cleveland City Dance students who have had at least one year of Beginning Ballet, Beginning Jazz, Beginning Modern or higher. Students will be expected to rehearse on Saturdays beginning in February. Rehearsals will run from approximately 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm depending on the role in which students are cast.
All students who are cast in Dr. Coppelius’ Workshop will perform in City Ballet of Cleveland’s Spring Repertoire Performance on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 7:00 pm at The Lorraine and Bill Dodero Performing Arts Center at Gilmour Academy. The tech/dress rehearsal is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026 starting at 5:00 pm. Dancers will also be asked to perform in a minimum of three outreaches at local schools in April and May 2026 and in one of the two in-studio performances on May 3, 2026.
